Samuele Marro

Samuele Marro is a PhD student at the University of Oxford, specializing in Autonomous and Intelligent Machine Systems (AIMS), with research funded by a prestigious $250k studentship from Microsoft Research. His work focuses on generative models and communication protocols for large language models (LLMs), combining cutting-edge AI and blockchain technologies.

As a Smart Contract Developer, Samuele is helping lay the foundations for the Decentralized Intelligence Network (DIN), which enables decentralized AI training while ensuring data privacy and user control. His work is instrumental in building secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure that allows participants to monetize their data and contribute to AI development.

Samuele has earned recognition in multiple hackathons, including several Gitcoin Hackathons, where he secured awards and bounties for his work in blockchain development, AI applications, and smart contract security. He is also an official author of the ERC-5375 token standard, contributing to the Ethereum ecosystem’s development of more efficient token standards. His previous experience as a Solidity developer and auditor further strengthens his expertise in smart contract security, Web3 integrations, and EVM standards.
